COVID 19 Information

WE ARE READY TO SERVE YOU!

As of May 4, our clinics in Saskatchewan are re-opened. We have implemented changes like physical distancing and limits to the number of patients in the clinic at a time to help stop the spread of Covid-19.

As most of you have heard, the Saskatchewan Government has planned to gradually reopen healthcare offices, including Optometry practices, starting May 4th. With the guidance of our governing bodies, we are busy preparing for this reopening to ensure the utmost safety for you and yours and our team.

As we anticipate you and your family may be anxious to get your eyes checked and eyewear updated, we wanted to keep you informed about our preparations to carefully and safely open our practices to routine care and services, starting Monday, May 11, 2020.

We will continue COVID safety with procedures including: high levels of disinfection of all areas, screen dividers between instruments where possible, increased spacing between patients in the clinic, less transfer between rooms, and reduced volume of exams per day.

As a result, it will take time to be able to get back to a normal routine. Your safety and quality of care are of paramount importance, so we kindly ask for your patience and understanding while we work with the Saskatchewan Association of Optometrists (SAO) and other Optometry and medical resources to provide you with the complete, careful and professional work that we have always strived towards, but within COVID allowances.

To prepare for your next appointment, we respectfully request the following from our patients:

  • All patients will be prescreened to ensure they are well and symptom-free to book an appointment.
  • Wear a face mask to your appointment.
  • Limit the number of attending people to the appointment except for those being tested and a caregiver (if needed).
  • Limit the number of family members booked at a time.
  • Anticipate longer appointment times to ensure social distancing and sanitization practices.

We have an accurate record of all cancelled appointments due to COVID closures, and we will do our best to rebook appointments in a rolling fashion over the next several weeks. Feel free to contact us about rescheduling, or any new appointments as we reopen. We greatly appreciate your patience as we navigate through the rebooking process.
