Senior’s Vision
Seniors can develop vision problems for a number of reasons, including age, systemic disease and even from the medications they take. Poor vision among seniors can have a significant impact on quality of life.
Adults over 65 years of age should see their eye doctor every year, especially if they or their family members have a history of diabetes, high blood pressure or eye disease like glaucoma or macular degeneration. Senior patients should see their doctor any time they experience a noticeable change in vision to be evaluated for serious eye diseases or systemic diseases that can affect vision.
